Cretan seaside resort

Chersonissos village is located 26km east of Heraklion. It is a small, picturesque village built amphitheatrically. The Venetians called it Bene Veto (nice view) due to the magnificent view of the area from above.

Chersonissos is a wonderful resort destination for travellers of any kind: families, couples, groups of friends. There are numerous activities for every taste.

You can choose among the several discos and beach bars or you can go for a more relaxed night, picking an Irish pubs, a café, or a speakeasy venue.

Families with kids can have a day with endless fun activities in one of Chersonissos’ water parks. Also in the area of Gouves, you can find the most important aquarium in Crete, Cretaquarium Thalassokosmos.
